Aplysia

Mindscapes, a sequence where you fall and a vivid dream about sequoias

The dreamlike narrative of Aplysia flows from the fractured consciousness of a lucid dream, traversing memories, conversations, and ritualizations about the stories that construct one's own reality. Like a faulty hard drive, this recurring dream struggles to forge new images and reinterpret past paths with the anxiety of waking up to a new dream.

The experience is titled Aplysia in honor of a marine mollusk (Aplysia californica), that possesses a simple yet sophisticated nervous system, making it a vital asset in the realm of basic research on memory, artificial recall, and learning.

Aplysia is an exploration that delves into the dynamic convergence of live cinema, collective rituals, and immersion design. In constant reverie, it is still iterating its form, its stories, its elusive images. It is still dreaming itself.

THE UNWANTED ATLANTIS

Every night, a ghost town emerges on the shores of Patagonia.
